As for her background, she was born and raised on a pirate ship with her dad as captain and her mom being a subordinate. Her mom died giving birth leaving her dad and the rest of the crew raising her. When she was 4, she lived happily with them until a rival pirate crew attacked killing everyone on board but her and the cap. looking for a devil fruit he intended to sell. With the ship on fire, her dad wanted her to live on and forced her on an escape raft with the fruit. She drifted on the raft for weeks with no food to eat but the fruit. She didn't want to eat it with her dad entrusting it to her, but had no choice. just as she was going to eat it she was eaten by a sea king only to escape with her new powers. She gained the ability to turn her body to a cloud-like form. she used her powers to reach an inhabited island until she left on her journey
